Bears often seek out the cool, quiet, protected areas beneath homes, patios, or other raised structures for resting or denning. Custom-fitted crawl space covers serve as a simple yet sturdy physical barrier to help prevent bears (and other wildlife) from taking up residence under your property!

Choose from a variety of crawl space cover options:

• Electric wiring - use of highly safe electric bungee setups to deter bears from entering that allow for continued (human!) access to crawl spaces

• Unwelcome mat - positioning of electrified mats at the entrance to crawl spaces that deliver a mild shock to a bear

• Emergency crawl space setup - Unwelcome mats (available for rent or purchase) placed at entrance to the crawl space prior to installation of new screen/vent and/or electric wiring; wildlife cameras are also available for monitoring

• Custom metal covers - COMING SOON

• Designed for attractants such as chicken coops, beehives, gardens, fruit trees, and compost areas, these safe and effective systems provide both a a psychological and physical deterrent.

• Electric deterrents are considered one of the most reliable methods for long-term protection, working to secure your animals and property without harming bears (or other wildlife).

• Note: Wild Neighbor is not currently able to offer full electric wiring setup of a home or other building (meaning: electrical wiring of every window, door, etc. of a home) - only crawl space and other raised structures can be fitted with electric wiring.

• These devices use the element of surprise to passively "haze" (or scare) bears away from your property, so you don’t have to!

• When a bear's movement is detected, the sudden flash of a strobing light and burst of sound triggers their natural flight response, making your property feel like an unpredictable and undesirable place to visit.
