We handle the bear necessities

Wild Neighbor focuses on practical, non-lethal solutions that reduce conflict by identifying and addressing possible bear “attractants”, as well as educational opportunities — helping people and wildlife share space safely!

We focuses on small-scale deterrent systems that do not require building permits or any major construction. For larger-scale or specialty projects, we may coordinate with trusted subcontractors to preform work on behalf of Wild Neighbor.

Serving select cities on the following days:

  • Los Angeles County: Monday, Wednesday, Friday

How Does It Work?

  1. Schedule a Property Assessment
    Wild Neighbor will visit your home, community, or place of business to identify possible bear attractants

  2. Receive a Customized Report
    Clear recommendations are provided to prevent bear activity, as well as an estimated cost for deterrent equipment and mitigation measures available from Wild Neighbor

  3. Implement Solutions
    Deterrents may be installed by Wild Neighbor same-day or scheduled out

  4. Consulting, Planning, and Outreach
    For additional guidance on human–bear conflict prevention, Wild Neighbor offers policy and ordinance guidance, wildlife conflict-response planning, and community engagement

Wild Neighbor does not possesses a contractor’s license but instead operates under the “Handyman Clause” per the California Contractors State License Board (CSLB) - visit the CSLB website for details.
